Stretch Mark Treatment & Removal

Stretch marks most commonly occur during puberty and pregnancy, due to stretching of the dermis which results in tearing of the connective tissue fibres, microscopic bleeding and inflammation. Scars then start to form during the healing process. They often start off as reddish or purplish in colour, before becoming streaked in silver or white.

Stretch marks are not physically dangerous but are often unsightly. They are also notoriously difficult to treat but, here at GynaeMD Women’s & Rejuvenation Clinic, we have devised various combination stretch mark removal & treatment options aimed at reducing these unpleasant stretch marks:

  • Topical stretch mark creams
  • IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) combined with IR (Infrared) and Photobiomodulation treatment
  • Radiofrequency and Dynamic Muscle Activation (DMA) technology, which aid in skin tightening and overall improvement in skin texture and body contouring
